Chinchilla Sand consists of finest mineral sand with special rounded grains which are kind to your Chinchilla’s fur. Give your Chinchilla this daily pleasure. Place a bite-resistant, sturdy dish filled with a layer approx. 3-5cm high of “Sandy Special” in your Chinchilla’s cage every evening for about 30 minutes. After the thorough caring bath, the dish should be closed again or removed completely so that it does not get contaminated. The bath dish should be emptied once a week, then cleaned and filled with fresh sand.
